Top 3 Brow Products For Black Hair

 

Finding the perfect shade in a brow product to match black hair can be tricky, through some trial and error I have found my top three brow products!

NYX Micro Brow Pencil - Espresso ($16.95 AUD)

This pencil is thin and very reminiscent of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz, The Pencil and the product is very similar. I like to draw thin lines through my brows, sometimes i draw a line underneath to give more definition. This pencil is super precise and can easily give a more natural look if that is your goal!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo - Granite ($39 AUD)

This is my most used brow product. I use the lighter side to fill in the beginning of my brows and I use the darker side to fill in the ends of my brows. This powder is beginner friendly and lasts so well!

Fenty Beauty Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler - Soft Black ($36 AUD)

The hold that this pencil had over me. I used it everyday for three months! You can create either natural or dramatic brows quite easily, the formula is really easy to work with. I absolutely love the shade.

Hourglass Nude Bronze Light Ambient Lighting Bronzer Swatches & Comparison

Hourglass have a few different shades of their Ambient Lighting Bronzer and some are vegan, this shade - Nude Bronze Light is vegan! 

I haven't found a product that doesn't work well with this bronzer, it has a beautiful formula! The packaging is the same as the Ambient Lighting Powders but it has a golden tone.

Each individual bronzer will look different because they're all marbled and baked, you won't find two the same!

Below are some swatches, on the left is Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer, in the middle is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Nude Bronze Light and on the right is the Too Faced Pineapple Strobe Duo (the bronzer side).

Nude Bronze Light is a lot more matte than both of these bronzers but it isn't completely matte at all!

The bronzer is so beautiful both in the pan and on your face! It doesn't enhance texture which I found a problem with the Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer - probably because of how satin the formula is!

On my hand the bronzer appears pretty boring but it is a bronzer, how exciting can it be!?

But how does it LOOK on your FACE? Well I've included two pictures of just that below!

Above and below I am wearing the Ambient Lighting Bronzer in Nude Bronze Light on my cheeks, forehead and as a nose contour. I'm also using it as an eyeshadow below.

This is such a beautiful bronzer, very expensive but also very worth the price!

Lunar Beauty Eternal Eclipse Palette Swatches

 

I decided to make the Eternal Eclipse palette my first ever Lunar Beauty purchase, isn't the palette stunning. The packaging is absolutely beautiful.

The packaging is a sturdy cardboard with the front featuring raised and textured details. The moon and the mountains are both raised. 

The palette inside has a big mirror, the palettes structure actually reminds me of a huda beauty palette, it feels and looks like it is made similar! The mirror is big and good quality.

The shades inside are very pleasing to look at, there are so many different ways that these shadows could be worn together! The stamps on the middle row of shades is such a cute little detail.

The first row is all metallic/shimmer shades: flare, adamantium, meteor, gold dust & desert sky.

The second row is all matte shades, these shades are really well made: dusk, rosethorn, sandstorm, summer sky, earthbender.

The last row has two matte shades, two shimmer shades and a matte with glitter: starry eyed, smoke, deep sea, lagoon & night sky.

I think out of all of the shades, lagoon was probably the worst performer with swatches. So far I have used this palette once using mattes and shimmers and didn't experience any fall out or fading. 

I am so in love with this palette already, I can't wait to do more looks with it!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer Swatches

 Tarte is one of those brands that I absolutely love, they are cruelty free and have a good amount of vegan products, too! Shape Tape concealer is one of the vegan products and I love it, it's the best concealer!

I have four different shades to compare together, they all look pretty similar in the tubes but have totally different shades and undertones.

Below are the shades: light neutral, light, fair beige & fair neutral.

light neutral has a yellow undertone and is probably similar to a MAC NC20/25, light has a pink undertone and would be similar to MAC NW20, fair beige is a neutral undertone and would be around the same depth as NC15 just less yellow & fair neutral has a slight yellow undertone, I think it is more neutral than fair neutral actually.

I hope you liked this comparison if the shades, sometimes it's hard to choose just from the photos and descriptions online. This concealer is amazing, my true favourite!
